Priscilla Fields
Priscilla Fields is a Learning Cultures staff developer who works in New York City schools. She has a BA in English from the University of Montana in Missoula, MT (1998) and an MAT (Master of Arts in Teaching) from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT (2000).
Priscilla is a veteran teacher, with experience teaching seventh-grade at the Jacob Riis School where she implemented the Learning Cultures curriculum.
Priscilla is a doctoral candidate at New York University, writing her dissertation on what the Writing Share component of the Learning Cultures curriculum reveals about students’ literacy learning and understanding.
Priscilla is a mother of a preschooler. She is an avid sportswoman who formerly ran an outdoor adventure club that took students whitewater rafting, biking, horseback riding, and skiing.
