Sabina McNamara
Sabina McNamara is a Learning Cultures coach working with middle schools in the Bronx that are part of the Urban Assembly network. Sabina has taught a wide range of students from 3rd-7th grade, specializing in reading, writing, and social studies.
Sabina worked closely with Cynthia McCallister through her years at P.S. 126, a public school in Manhattan’s Chinatown district, discovering and developing Learning Cultures. Sabina has presented Learning Cultures methods, theories and practices in public schools, universities, and at national teacher conventions.
There is a strong passion for Learning Cultures that Sabina brings to her work every day. She believes that all students have the ability to read, write, have critical discussions, and be promotive. When Sabina is not in school, she is at home, loving her life as a new mom to a wonderful little person named Sofia.
